Cloth badges are pieces of embroidery that have existed since time immemorial. They are basically patches or designs that were originally done through hands. Initially, these were manually operated but then the machinery was improved giving place to better spacing, more needles and less dependability on the manpower.
- Computerized Machines: The machines used for embroidery saw a drastic change with the computerized machinery support. This made designing quite easier and embroidery customizable to a huge extent. The application of LCD touchscreens, auto threading, and embroidery adviser software made the process hassle-free. The manufacturers in current times use this technology and that is the reason mass production is possible.
The advancement in the whole process have given place to multiple fabrics and the manufacturer’s design embroidered patches.The types of stitches have also increased limiting the time and efforts of the designers.
